2006 in Review:

January -- Among all other problems, DH developed a partial small bowel obstruction and was admitted to the hospital. It was a new symptom that no one even predicted would be coming. My grandmother's health went downhill with stage 5 kidney failure. We went on a business trip to Hawai'i. When you're in Hawai'i, NOTHING feels like work! I decided to make some changes to my appearances after DH start mentioning things that would look good. I got a good response and it felt wonderful!

February -- My work sponsored a big gala that DH and I attended. It made me felt like royalty. DH and I got into our biggest fight ever and he forced me to leave him. I was gone for 2 days before we reconciled and he came and got me.

March -- We discovered that while I was staying with my parents for the two days that my Grandmother had a stroke. It was a blessing that I was there because when DH came to pick me up, I needed him to help me help her. Her health went even more down hill and she was hospitalized. Grandma died on the 18th. I had my first U.T.I. My hamster died.

April -- Nothing much happened. Grandma was buring in the Arlington Cemetery. I guess nothing happening is a good thing sometimes.

May -- My cousin graduated from college. DH went to the hospital again. I had my yearly exam with the gynecologist. I told her about a lump I found in my breast and she told me that I needed an ultrasound just to be safe.

June -- DH had his first capsule endoscopy, which was inconclusive. Jaykay got married. DH and I went on a business trip in San Diego, CA. Abnormalities were found on my ultrasound and after I was told that I needed to see a breast specialist I started getting very scared. The Live-Ins moved into our basement. I celebrated my 22nd birthday.

July -- I had two biopsies done after another lump was found in my breast. I was a teacher at GNC for a week. DH went to the hospital again. The doctor tried putting him on different medications to see what would help with his pain and possibly diagnose him. Nothing worked. I started thinking about going back to school to become a nurse.

August -- I decided to switch diaries. Other than that, nothing huge happened.

September -- DH and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary. We started getting fed up with the Live-Ins and their sloppy careless with our things. DH had a trip to the emergency room, but wasn't admitted. I got my hair chopped off.

October --DH celebrated his 24th birthday. We discovered that the Live-Ins brought fleas into our basement and didn't tell us. My grandfather died a year ago on the 25th. DH and I started trying to conceive our first child.

November -- The fleas won't die. DH decided to go off of his transdermal patch cold turkey and suffered from severe withdrawal. I had an ingrown toenail and the podiatrist fixed it permanently.

December -- The fleas still won't die. I took DH to the emergency room in the last week of the year and he was admitted. He'd just had his second capsule endoscopy, which apparently was done at a good time because the doctor may have found the cause of all of his problems. I celebrated New Years over IM with DH while he was in his hospital room.
